Well, you get out the saw and cut the mustang roof off and buy this kit and whack it in there. I have both kits waiting for this whack job. I can take measurement and be more detailed but that's how you do it. bob Attachments:

I made this for you to compare the two. I think the Cougar's trunk has to be shortened. I can look into this further. Or you can just take it away from here. bob Attachments:

That's right, I thought I had a '69 Mach 1 on hand but it turned out to be a couple Shelbys. They never made a Shelby coupe of that year so I won't go there. You will need to cut away all the Mustangs roof and maybe even the 'A' post and possibly the cowl vent (wipers). That might be easier than piecing it in along the top edge of the windshield. Wish I had a '69 to demonstrate the cuts.
The Cougar roof tapers into the rear fender a little and that would be just trimmed away to match the Mustang coupe photos. I also believe the trunk will need to be trimmed back as I think the Mustang trunk is a little shorter.

The only 69 Mustangs I've seen are the Shelbys and that Mach 1. The mach one of course will take some mods in itself. The fender scoop for example. Need to get one of those.

Revell, and AMT used to put out a 69 Mach 1 mustang kit. The easiest, and cheapest to find is the monogram ones.
