Thanks for the warnin,Steve, but I been knowin that for quite a few years now! I've always had a penchant for furry dogs, so I gotten used ta it by now! Ask for trouble, you'll GET it!!! Hope the ride to Tenn isn't too hard on yer back, I'm glad I'm not in your shoes, but then again, my wife's Eldo makes ANY ride a pleasure. BIG difference tween a Kia an a Eldo! It was nice yestiddy, but taday it's down ta 45 an Ol Ben says it's only gettin ta 48! Not much difference! Have a good one brother, hope the trips a good one! 262 ta go!

Well it didn't rain much at all here but the temps sure took a dive. Gone from 80s to the low 60s for the next few days anyway. Didn't get to clear the Mummy Machine due to the humidity the other day but hopefully I will get it cleared tomorrow night when I get home from work.

Man,it sure did take a dive...it was cold and rainy in the way down, but sunny/clear and...cool,on the way back. Yeah,BIG diff in the KIA and Eldo...I can go thru snow n mud Joke! I made it out there...I forgot to charge the camera batts, but I did get some decent shots of several builds (of various genre's),here's a link to em... s975.photobucket.com/albums/ae240/Olskoolrodder/HobbyTown%20USA%20Spring%20Show/Even scored a couple ribbons for a 2nd ("Hotrods" for my Merc) and 3rd ("Musclecars" for my '69 Charger RT) place finishes ;D I ran into an old Army buddy there (his is the mid-evil warrior with horse diorama in the pics-he won the Fantasy class) I hadn't seen or thought of since '94-95,a kool kat I've chatted with from Scale Auto's forums on occasion (goes by "Bowtie Builder" there-that's his uber detailed Nascar and sweet '57 Chevy Black Widow street machine). Yeah...I had a blast! ;D ;D ;D Today,we drove over to my oldest friend's house (well,he ain't the oldest person I'm friend's with...but met him in Kindergarten 31 years ago, been great friends since-nigh inseperable we were up till I joined that man's Army and shipped out),and they'll return the visit next weekend for dinner...just a lazy day out in the pleasant weather (60's and sunny)

I know it's kinda late, but things got kinda busy taday, an I'm jus now gettin a chance to drop in! REAL nice pics Steve, I REALLY liked the 69 Charger! I used to own one. A Black on Black on Black 440 R/T 4 spd. THEEEEE most BEAUTIFUL car I have EVER owned!!! Man that thing was a BEAST! Won ALOT of street races in it, an taught Theresa how to drive a 4sd. in it. She won a coupla races in it too! Hey ,What makes you think my Eldo can't go thru mud an snow? It's just a car too me, an I'll drive that bad boy ANYWHERE i think it'll make it thru! Granted I DON'T go off roadin with it, But it HAS gone down some NASTY gravel roads. It takes alot to stop a front wheel drive Caddy! It's 9:39 now an only got 52 taday so it was kinda cool, but it's sposed ta get to 65 tomalli! Hopefully it WILL! 261 days left Homies! C-ya tomolli!

Thanx for the props guys ;D Was a lil nicer today, mid 60's,sunny. I drug the mower out and gave it a minor tune up (poured out last year's gas, poured fresh in,LOL!) and got er going, and hit the upper yard until I ran it over some kinda metal bracing that weren't there last year (and uh...I walked th elot looking fer anything in the way, twas hidden in the foot high grass )...ripped that gas tank right off and inta 2 pieces . I think I can JB Weld it though,LOL,so's I'll pick some up tomorrow. George,we useta own an '87 Eldorado, twas a really kool ol car,I really liked it ;D ,and yeah,it went purdy dang good snow time. I was jest thinking about all the "more robust" 4x4's I passed on the unscraped 25%+ grade road takin Tina to work just a month or so ago with 1-2 feet of snow (one of em-this guy was classic-was a new $50K F350 diesel with no less than 6 35" tires,he was sliding backwards when I passed him,and he was pissed about the lil KIA that did,LMAO! )

Getting ready for work................ no way, I'm almost always up that late...or is it early LOL. Had the day off from work today so I got the rider back out and mowed the rest of my yard and the rest of the owner's lots on the block (getting rent knocked off for that ;D). Steve, I know what you mean about hitting stuff. Most of the yard was almost a foot tall here to and I hit a few things that I or my son didn't see but nothing bad enough to make me quit, this time lol. Have fun, as soon as I finish catching up on one more forum its over to the model desk for a decaling sesion (I hate decals) and hopefully get the clear on the purple for the Mummy Machine as well.

Well at least now i nowz yer a night owl(or is that early bird?) I tend ta do the whole hood in the winter when I snowblow caz it's only 5 houses on my block! In the summer 2 of my neighbors have a lawn service to cut their grass. The other 2 are young strappin fellas that can do theirs on the weekends! I CAN'T let the grass get too wild or our anal city DPW folks'll come an cut it themselves an charge ya about 50bucks for it! Plus Theresa WON'T let me let it go that long! Slave drivein ol woman!!! My daughter an son in law come back from Jamaica today, so we take my grand kids home today. Glad there here but my granddaughter likes to get up like 7:00 in the mornin! TOO dam early for ol WoWo! Theresa usually get up that early for work, but after she leaves, I can just go back ta bed! NOT with these babydolls runnin/crawlin around! Gotta stay up while she gets my grandsons formulas ready. Emmi kinda tends ta do her own thing(she's 5) But Carter's only 7 months so he's gotta be looked after. Me, heck, I just wanna SLEEP!!! Hope ya'll got the yards dun without TOOmuch more trouble! I can do my front AND back yards in about 45 minutes! One nice thing about NOT havein an ACRE yard! Steve, that other truck was just pissed caz HE paid $60,000.00 for HIS macho truck that you just drove circles around!!!!259 left fellas!

I don't think it was the actual 30-40 minutes of mowing that dun it,but rather the yanking on the pull start on the mower, but today...I'm back on the cane and ailin'.

The lot here is about 1/2 a town block which wouldn't/shouldn't be to bad but there are 7 trailer lots (only 4 trailers right now) and a 2 car garage! Oh and lets not forget the 3 ditches and 4 trees to work around as well and I think you get the idea. I think I spend more time shifting from reverse to forward and turning than I do actually mowing the dang grass . Add the fact that I don't have a working push mower just adds to how much time I spend trying to get as much as I can with the rider and it makes for a long, long day but its all done for the moment.

All I gots is a pusher mower,LMAO! The upper lot is mostly driveway, but I mow around it (weedeater and my neck? Huh-uh),then the fenced in yard around the house (3/4 around, the last 1/4 is the hillside around back),the hill (20+% grade) is steep but not really that big, then the lower lot, around the trampolene, swingset and playhouse (one big wooden set of swings and playhouse)...all in all, about 1.5-2 hour's worth of push mowing.
Feelin somewhat better today,no cane, and standing upright. Next tax refund time ('11) or when I get approved (whichever comes first),methinks I'm gunna buy one of those pushers with a key'd ignition like my Pops has ;D
Looks like it's gunna be rainy today, rained all night last night, cool and wet this morning.
I bowed outta the 96 Hour Build this weekend (will be the first TRaK 96er I've missed this year) due to a funeral outta town this weekend of a Kat I barely knew (but my Pops wuz close to him),but I'm gunna try and get some benchtime betweenst now and then anyways,LOL!

Oh hell no, all I got is a regular lot and a half. It's 90 feet deep by around 60 or so feet wide, my house sits closer to the front of it than the rear. That's one reason we bought it. Plus it's got one of the best school systems in the Metro area. Don't need THAT now, caz Joy's already graduated, but better school systems tend to bring a better class of people to make for a nicer neighborhood. We've been here for 25 years now, and thank God, we've NEVER had any trouble at all. In my old hood, we had to keep the front screendoor LOCKED all the time caz the junkies would walk right into your house to rob you! They used to hit the old folks especially, caz they knew most old folks couldn't protect themselves! The joys of livein in the Murder Capital of the U.S.! I STILL sleep with a loaded 9mm. in my nightstand(old habits die hard) and I have a CCW. Only thing is I DON'T really need it around here anymore. But it DOES lend a sense of security. Got GREAT neighbors too, and THAT always helps! They think I'M kinda nuts, but that's cool too, caz don't nobody mess with us!!! All in all, a VERY nice and pleasent city to live in. I like it here. I'm also likein the weather too, it's 43 out an sposed to get up to 65 again today. it's been real nice out lately, and I'm soakin it up like a fat ol busquit in gravey!!! Oh Yeah!!! 258 short ones ta go fellas!
