Sheet fire...if it ain't one kid gettin in trouble,it's the dang other Just got a certified letter today,Jamie has missed so many days of s'kool this year (including tardies,early checkoouts and absenses...but they get tardy LOTS because of the bus running late,and that ain't right),we gots to have a conferance with the dang s'kool board about her Monday. I hope the hell she don't get held back ona-counta this...she'll be grounded till the end of next s'kool year if she does.

Otherwise,71 degrees,nice breeze,good free pizza at my cousin's lil boy's B-Day party,and a fresh new layaway at the LHS ;D

Maybe Therese knew somethin I didn't an THAT'S why she only wanted ONE!!! When Joy Renee was born, while she was bein rolled out of the delivery room, she told me, "This was HARD ,Daddy, I DON'T want to do this again!"(Joy was born thru natural childbirth) Welp, she DIDN'T an THAT'S why Joy's my only one! I named her PERFECT though, cas even though she's 31, she's STILL a JOY to me! I love that child like she was my ONLY one! (I got 3 Godchildren, but they go home, an Joy COMES home!)Which of course she IS!!! ;D Kinda overcast this mornin, and it's 52 out right now, they're talkin some light rain showers, but nuthin bad. At least the ICE stage is OVER! I dislike the ice stage, yes I DO!!! 268 days ta go!

Hey Guys! Another BEAUTIFUL day in Paradise!!! It's 34 out, but Ol Ben Bailey, the TV2 weatherhack says it's gonna get up to 62,oh my!!!
We went to Lowe's yesterday to get some plants for the yard, an HOLY SHAMOLY the ol girl went NUTS!!! Well at least I know WHAT i'll be doin for the next coupla days!! I tell her now that I'm retired, it'll take me a few days or so to get ALL her flowers planted, so I gotta stretch it out to keep me busy! If I do it all in one day, I get TOO tired an may not do as nice an pretty a job for her!( and she LIKES pretty!!!) So, like I said, I'll be busy outside for most of the week. Takes me about an hour to plant 1,or 2 plants, caz you just CAN'T rush beauty! ya gotta set 'em up so that they're estetically pleaseing,ya know! Wish me luck, caz she only gives me round about ideas as to where she wants them! 267 left!

Sounds like you guys had a better weekend than I did. And mine finished Sunday evening with the worst part. Wife calls me at work and says that Stephie (my 8yr old) crashed her bike and was banged up pretty good including a gash on her chin and they were on their way to the ER. Made some calls and the Assis. Manager said he would be there in about 40 min. (more on this later). One of my deliviery drivers said since it was slow they could handle it till the A.M. got there. Get to the hospital about 6pm and sure enough she needed stitches on her chin. The doc they called in to do the stitches would be there in less than 2 hrs but ended up taking him 4!!! She ended up with about 8 stitches on the inside and another 8 or so on the outside!! Back to the A.M. for a moment, he called back after I left and said he couldn't make it By the time I got back to the store there was my old A.M. before his promotion and my manager and she was not in a good mood. Needless to say I think I'm on her nuts list now but oh well, family comes first and the Assis. Manager said he would be there or I would have never left in the first place. Oh well, you guys have a good week.

Sorry to hear about the baby Marc, but your right, Family IS more important! I'da dun the SAME thing. You just gotta let the folks at work know how it is! I was lucky, cas for the most part, I always had good supervisors, and I ALWAYS went to work,EVERY day, an I was proud of my work record. I even went to work with BODAYSHUS hang overs, but I WENT! My bosses saw that, an appericiated it! They were good to me,and if I needed to leave for some reason, they usually let me. But beein the fool that I am, I'd usually come BACK after I took care of my buisness! Oh well, I'm retarded now so it's not a concern anymore! I DON'T have to go back!!!! Hope you guys are doin well, it's rainin out this moanin, and 44. Weatherhack says it'll get up to 62, We'll see. Only266 days ta go!!!!

I know once when Jamie was about 4,she stood and promptly fell in the tub (I was out on the road truckin) and split her chin open,took only 3 stitches though (none inside). I had only been gone a few hours,so I turned the rig around (co-driver in complete aggreement,BTW). The boss was an ass,told me if I "EVER" did similar again,I was fired. I won't go into the kinda newly invented cuss words I said to the prick (he had no wife/kids,so he was completely unsympathetic...with the key word there being pathetic),but with some of the things he'd actually had the balls to say about my wife not being capable of dealing with that herself,I told him I hoped to see him soon,as I was bringing his precious KW to him that night

Family comes first,no matter what,you done the right thing,my friend. Tell her yer "other family" hopes she's doing better

George-Yeah,I kinda gorged myself on all that free pizza,LMAO! Sunday,I kinda gorged on my Mom's home cooked roast meal when we visited too

Pretty dang nice out there today,just a hair above 70,sunny,just a hnt of a breeze. Man,would be SO sweet to be in the woods on the 29er (that's a mtn bike with larger 700c wheels,and 29" tires,instead of the "standard" 26"ers for those that don't know).

There's a model show coming at the HobbyTown USA in Johnson City,TN (Roan Street-about 2 hours from me) this coming weekend. I've never been to a show,so I'm gunna try and rearrange a few things and get to it...might take a couple to enter just for kicks (so I can say "Yeah,I done that once"). The kiddos DO NOT wanna go,so that might throw a kink in it,but hey,if all else fails,I'm the adult (adult sized,anyways,LOL!) ;D

Steve, OOOOOO, Ma's home cookin!!! My Ma's 87 goin on 88 in June, an she lives with my MUCH older sister Cilvia, who does most of the cookin at their house, but once in a while Mom cooks for Victor(My Brother in law) an HE LOVES it!!! Mom STILL uses ALOT of HOT spices when she cooks,caz my Dad ALWAYS ate his food REALLY HOT!(Spicey) But I've been eatin Theresa's food for so long now that I can't handle REALLY SPICEY foods like Mom cooks. Cil doesn't make her foods NOWHERE near as hot as Ma's so it's more suited to my tastes now. Victors Mom used to cook like My Mom, so he REALLY enjoys it! My ol stomach dun got sissified eatin Therese's cookin, an it just can't handle that HOT stuff any more! Heck, even a bag of spicey POTATO chips can mess ME up!!!
But I still eat Ma's cookin occasionally, caz it's GOOOOOD!!! Plus I cheat an take me a Nexium Tablet !! Mom's still got it though, caz she can still cook her a$$ off!!! The weathers 48 an partly sunny out, gonna get to 64 again, so it SHOULD be a nice day! We'll see. Hey, it's sposed ta get ta 80 tomolli!!!! 265 days till 2011!!

Well my manager is still mad but more at her assistant manager than me LOL. Stephie is still pretty sore but getting back to her old self. They are calling for sunny weather with a high of 82 today and more of the same tomorrow!! Needless to say that I have the paint booth set up and in just a few minutes I will be doing some spraying!! Marc,really glad to here she's feeling better ;D They're resilient most times like that,just need that extra hug from dear old Dad. And yeah...if I can get the laundry,floors and dishes caught up,I need to spray some today too,LOL!

George,I feel you on Mom's cooking...over the last 10 years or so,my Mom got a bee in her bonet and decided to start trying new things,adding new and different flavors to familiar foods...and poor old Dad has to eat it,LOL! Most of the meals she'll cook (like you,after eating the wife's great cooking all these years),I just can't stomach,though more for taste reasons than spicey-ness,LOL! But one thing that tastes as good as ever,is her raost beef,mashed tators,baked beans and steakhouse-rolls ;D My Mom's yet to turn 60,and doesn't yet look old to my eyes (which had their first check up in 20 years Monday...Doc said I see better n most 20 year olds he sees ). Dad,however,at only 1 year older with his undyed hair (insert a snickering smilie here),when he's tired or puts his specks on to see better,is starting to at 59,but I keep my mouth ,LOL!

70 out right now,sposed to be pretty tomorrow,rain Thursday,sunny weekend...dang I love Spring! ;D ;D ;D

I need to get offa here,finish today's chores (and those I shirked yesterday...ok,the last 2 days ),and make myself sit at the bench...it's done been a few weeks,and the next benchtime needs be forced,to break through the lazyness I've slipped into,LMAO!

Definately gonna HAVE ta change my clothes! But HE'S LOOKIN SHARP!!! Often wondered why they're called WHITE Westhighland Terriers,when it's OBVIOUS that they're WHITE!!!! Yeeesh, musta been named by a REAL mental giant!!! Welp, it's startin out ta be a BEAUTIFUL day, hope you all have one too!!! Only 264 days ta go!!!

LOL! Nope,been too dang lazy to go to the dump

Been around upper 70's-mid '80s here all week as wel,sposed to be a tad bit cooler today with possible showers,but I hung some laundry outside anyways,looks clear,but windy.

This week,I been having probs (more n usual) sleepin at night,so's I been re-crashing after the s'kool bus shuffle each morning till about 11AM,greatly cuttin into my time-before-the-kids-get-home chore time,LOL! Due to new responsibilities on a couple other places as well,I'm in the process of re-shuffling where I can get to everyday...which is actually gunna be an every-other day thing,due also to new responsibilties in real-time as well. I'm keeping here on the "most frequented" sites though,you guys seems likes family...but that's all the mushy-touchy-feely stuffs you'll get from me,LMAO!!!

I will be hooking the trailer up tomorrow though...gunna try and make it to that model show in TN,and drop the trailer at my parent's inroute so's Pops can load the remainder of the furniture we had bought a while back outta his garage for me to haul back on the way in-IF I still get to go,I don't wanna jinx it,LOL! It'd be really nice if we can find the time to install a new A/C belt on the KIA as well...a body/paint-man I could become with the proper tools,but a mechanic I ain't,Dad is...besides,I'm a VERY good "Handmethis'r",LMAO! Looking forward to going,but kinda dreading that it's 5 hours from entry-when you can laod up and go home...it's a small store,and not close to anything I'll wanna visit (other than KFC ),so I'll be pretty much stuck there all day. Hope there's some kool peeps to meet n greet
