Cool Marc,i guess "Night Owlin" does pay off! it got up ta 69 yestiddy, an the Benster says the same for taday! GREAT! I bought a weeping Chinese Cherry tree overt Lowe's the other day, an now I gotta plant that rascal out in the front yard. i like it, an I think it'll look nice when I'm done. Joy an Phil, got us a "Redbud" tree(Wrong kinda "Redbuds" fer her ol Dad(LOL)) and it's gotta come up now caz it's pretnear where I wanna plant this one. I guess I'll move their tree out on the easement(betwwen the curb an sidewalk) to match the OTHER one they gave us!
Just didn't want THAT many trees in the FRONT yard. It'll look ok when I'm done though. Ben says we'll be havein scattered sunshine, but that's cool, caz scattered is better'n NONE! It got up ta 70 yestiddy,an it was only sposed ta get to 65, so hopefully, it'll be nice taday! Steve, I know about respect for Dad's freinds. Pop's been gone for goin on 6 years now, but he had a REAL close knit group of freinds. When one "Goes Home" they usually let my Ma know, and I go in my Dad's place for Him. If he were still here, he'd be there, so this is how we show our respect for their frendship to my Pop. And DON'T think it's not appericiated or noticed, cas ALL this freinds family's tell me HOW MUCH it means to see me again, after many years. "Oh Georgie, I remember when...... and I can FEEL the thanks. Yeah, funerals are a bummer, but they DO serve their purpose, to celebrate a life much loved, and (hopefully) well lived! Just remember the good things about the person. well. guys it's gettin shorter, only 257 left!

Oh man...hadda pop a (very potent) muscle relaxer yesterday ('s why I didn't get on). Not hurtin today,but didn't getta sleep last night till almost 0600,alarm went off at 0700,and the cable guy (not Larry,LOL!) will be here for the kiddos rooms between now and noon,so I'm afraid to doze till he gets here...my eyes are doing  Otherwise,no benchtime,nothing new to report. I did get out to Gizmos before alla that and make a payment on the "Secret Mission" (a layaway of a few kits that the wifey didn't know I'd set back  ). |

Hey guys! well didn't get the tree planted, so guess I'll be doin it taday(Yeah,right) sposed ta be a nice one, an it's sposed ta rain tomolli, so hopefully,it'll get done today! Who knows? It's nice out now though it is a bit cool.36 now, but it'll get warmer as the sun comes up. only 276 days left guys. Jeeze it seems ta be goin by fast! Or is it just me?

It ain't jest you,ol Buddy...time,she's a'flyin  A bit cool out here this morning too,but not quite as cool as you gots it,maybe upper 40's? Kids will be thrilled when they get home...Cable Guy's here and doing his thing as I type,so tonight,they can watch their Cartoon Network in the sanctity of their own rooms |

Ahhh,yesterday,I hadda pop some meds for pain/stiffness,but today... Just finishing up a b1tch of a couple hour workout: Full range of stretches full my full range of motions,did an hour of various Kata,then worked on the heavy bag (100lbs) for 45 minutes before some cooldown stretching. I may never get into a full split again (nor would I wanna),but yeah...some days are good |

Well jeeze Steve, if ya can do all THAT, I'd say ya waz feelin pretty good! Glad ta hear it! I got my tree planted yesterday, she looks nice ,but it WAS sopposed ta RAIN last night, and I was hopein it would, but, oh well, Ben the weather hack was WRONG again! Weatherscan shows rain ALL around the area ,but NONE on US!!! Guess even God knows NUTHIN's gonna wash the mess outta THIS town! Sure do hope kwami, sam, AND martha enjoy their jailtime! Maybe THEN God will see that we're TRYIN to sweep the garbage out of the city,and LET it rain on us! 255 ta go!!!

Rained most of the night here,LOL! Yeah,I did alla that last night....but feeling it all this mornin,LMAO!   Actually,it isn't that I'm feeling having done it recently today,more like feeling that I've done it recently and haven't done some/most of it for years  Weatherboob called for rain and t-storms all day today,but I look out the window and see blue skies with a few puffy white clouds  ;D |

Well George, I think we got your rain here, it rained all night and its raining again right now and they are calling for T-storms tonight..........yippie. Nothing like setting at the window or on the porch and watching nature's light show.

Well it FINALLY has rained, Not the thunderstorms they were talkin about, but more than enuff ta water my tree! Went to the Macomb County Comm.Coll. Toy show today, did ok too, spent about 150 bucks, but got mostly resin stuff and a also got a 69 Road Runner, UNBUILT! in the ORIGINAL Cartoon box!!!!! Talk about a score! My wife thought I was crazy seein as how I already got about 4 of them, but NONE in the original box! AND I only gave 45.00 bucks for it! Theresa thinks I get a LITTLE TOO crazy sometimes, but that's ok I tell her, cause it don't say much for HER, after all, SHE married ME!!! I LOVE it!!! 254 ta go!!!

Turned out ta be a nice day, kinda wet, but SUNNY, go figger! But at least it din't rain a whole lot. just a weird kinda drizzle. Oh well, I enjoyed it! 253 left!

George,I dug through some old "my cars" pics,found a couple snap shots of that '86 Eldorado I used to have...   And here's one of the '90 Passat GL (had every go-fast part Nuespeed had at the time,including 13 PSI of boost. Ran mid 14's on 14" street tires) and 1/2 of my last air-cooler,the '69 Beetle we restored/modd'd (Pops did the 1776 dual Weber drivetrain,I did the body/paint,wife and Mom did the interior)...  |

Steve, I probably built that Eldo! It's EXACTLY like my wife's first 85 Eldo, White with a Blue simulated roof,and a dark blue leather interior. I got the Gold emblems for it from the crib at work, and put them on it. They went REALLY nice against the Blue roof an white body. I always thought the 86's looked like they had washed the 85's in HOT water an they shrunk! After ownin and buildin the BIGGER styles,the 86's and up always looked just too small to be Eldo's. But they DID sell well. Theresa's got a 2001 Eldo ETC. now and it's a REAL nice car! I wanna get a CTS-V but they're hard to find now, the folks that got 'em are keepin 'em, an on my pension, I sure CAN'T afford a NEW one!! I guess after 32 years of buildin 'em, ya DO get ta likein 'em! actually, I've only bought GM products for myself, but Theresa's had a 95 MK VIII and now she's got a 2001 Ranger XLT 4X4 , so even the Ford products she's bought have been pretty dependable, but myself, I'm a GM guy. I'll NEVER buy a foreign car or truck, I'm an american autoworker and that would just be blasphemy as far as I'm concerned! I DO like BMW's though, but I'd never buy one. Just my idea though, an I'm comfy with it. 252 ta go!
