Moanin Fellers!!! welp, I HOPE ya'll had a nice Easter! I gained 3 lbs over the weekend! Yeeesh, I DON'T remember eatin THAT MANY Easter Eggs or Chocolate bunnies! We had Dinner overt Joy's house an an Easter Egg hunt for My Granddaughter an some of her cousins, so it was GREAT to see the newest generation celebrateing such a blessed event (Easter, NOT the hunt!!!) I guess I gotta hit the ol treadmill a little harder this week, an TRY ta burn off those extra lbs! Sometimes I just CAN'T win, ya know what I mean? Just another beautiful day in PARADISE!!! We got 274 days left ta go!

We had a purdy good one too. Sat around and told the Easter story (NOT about the bunny, duh!) and discussed it a bit, said a group prayer of thanks (me,daBoss-Lady and the kids, that is),then did the hunt, find, and eat candy thing. Today, spent several uncomfortable (neck/back got to me) hours in Mr. Disability's office, for the second appeal/3rd go round kick off,but stopped at "Uncle Buck's Hotrod Garage and Sales" on the way back. Did some talking,bench-talk-building of a potential project, done some figuring, and guess what....from start to finish (assuming I didn't get billet crazy-bleh!-or expect 1,000 horse power...just a basic build, slammed suspension with more modern front clip, basic small block built for show and 100,000 miles, etc),it'd be about what we were expecting to put as a down payment on a new cookie-cutter pony car whenever I do get approval (outta the backpay). Here's a couple I liked the looks of sittin out back for sale... ;D ;D ;D Man,I sure hope this appeal goes thru, and fast! I already picked the perfect license plate for me......."OSKLRDR" Been a while since I've driven/owned old

OOOOO! REALLY like that 40 Chevy coupe, an the 58 pickup!!! It's nice ta see old rides like that in such decent shape! Around here, sh!t, even a 10 years old car is startin ta rust out, not to mention what a FIFTY year old car looks like! Hope ya find one that makes ya HAPPY! I just gave my 69 Camaro to my daughter Joy, She's ALWAYS loved it, an I know she'll take REAL good care of it. I had 4 cars and it was just TOO much to keep 'em all insured and maintained! The only time I drove the Camaro was for a few months in tha summer, an I had to keep it insured for Fire and Theft ALL year. Now I just have my Eldorado, my wife's lil Ranger 4X4 ,an my 95 Impala SS. Funny thing though, now that the Camaro's gone, I only drive the Impala in the summer now, It stays in the Garage all winter with Fire an theft! the more sh!t changes, the more it STAYS tha same! Go figger! Hope yer feelin better Steve, so you can enjoy cruisin in yer new/old ride!!! 273 left!

Went to the lawyer's Monday, sat 5 hours, kept getting told "Oh,yer next, yer next" I finally misquoted their moto to em and said "Well,I guess 'Eric C Conn don't wanna get the job done,he ain't yet, maybe I need a new lawyer, and since he didn't 'get the job done' and doesn't wanna see me today after having me drive 2 hours up here through a friggin hail storm,no less,he don't get paid either...what can he do,garnish my food stamps?"...guess what happened then...I was next,LMAO!!! Yesterday was 'nother hot one, beustiful day! Today's a might cooler, only mid 70's right now, rain tomorrow. I NEED to get back to the bench, but at least I got the yard looking better (now if I can just remember to get some cash outta the ATM next town trip,I can haul that trailer to the dump and dump it,they don't take debit cards or checks,LOL). Itchin to ride-like really bad-as well, but Doc says not yet,and Lawyer says not at all till approved Maybe it's time to drag one of those old rusty '60s Schwinns outta the recesses of the shed and rebuild it

Steve, way back in 74 my Pop had a heart attack at work,(he was about 54) he worked as a millwright at a LARGE steel factory here in Detroit. He was off work for about 6 mos. after about 30 days, the company started canvasing the neighbors to see if they could get one of them to rat on my Dad. Unfortunately, he was WELL liked in my hood, an EVERYONE liked him. So they kept at it, till the neighbors called the cops to quit the harrass ment! The cops told the co. to cease an desist. Then my dad had to get an injunction against them to quit! He finally had to go back to work, an was told by management that He'd have to DIE in the plant before he got anymore paid medical leave. He and a severe heart attack, and had to be taken out of the plant by ambulance, sued the company for negligence, won it and was given a FULL medical retirement with FULL pension benefits. Dad lived to be 82 years old when he went home. One thing to remember, when YOUR in the RIGHT, NEVER give up, caz when it comes time, YOU'LL win! The company WANTS you to get tired of the BS and GIVE UP!!! Just do like your attorney says, DON'T give the co. ANYreason to say your NOT hurt! It's all the ammo they'll need!!!

I hear you. There technically isn't a company involved, but the federal government (notice the lower case letters? LOL!) takes the place of it just fine,LOL!
Beautiful day here, but they callin for rain in the morrow, and sub 30's by weekend (overnight, but still...).

69 out right now (my favorite # ) and cloudy, sposed to rain. I need to both go clean the yard of Blossum's mess, and drive back up to Willard's to get her...I thought her collar was a little tight last night,so I loosened it. When she heard her old "pack" barking/howling (maybe they came down? they often do) she got loose,LOL! Gotta run to the PO,go get her, haul that trailer of junk off

Steve, ya sure ya ain't got you a little"Dog Whisperer"in ya? Around here I carry a Sig Sauer 9MM semi ,cause ALOT of these idjits keep pit bulls to keep there houses safe. I DO NOT trust those dam things, too many folks an kids been attacked by them if they get loose. there's actually an ordanance about keepin them. If they do get out, the cops or private citizens are allowed to shoot them if they even ACT like they might attack. I have a CCW already, an if me an Fred take a walk, I ALWAYS carry my peice. i WON'T take a chance on one tryin to hurt me OR Fred!!! It may sound cold, but I WON'T take any chances.

It don't sound cold to me,my friend. I neglected to mention the REASON I ain't skeert, that Ruger .45 in me pocket (along with the concealed carry permit in me wallet) I have a friend who has a couple Pits. I don't trust em either, though his pair have always been like 2 big puppies. They don't however, particularly love car tires once they roll, they try to attack em,and I've seen a couple popped because of em. Those 31's on the KIA are 6 ply thick tho ;D Pee-poured the rain, and hovered around 50 for most of it today after the trip up the mtn. 'Sposed to hit under 30 overnight tomorrow night, and ol-timers what reads those Almanacs are spreading rumors of a record breaking snow coming this month (would have to be 4' or more to break the old record from my youth). I sure hope not

SNOW!!!! I thought you guys were SOUTH of US!!! Man, Steve THAT is sumpthin I DO NOT want to see till NEXT January! I even pit Big Red away! Even put 1/2 a bottle of Stabile in that rascal!!! Yeah, about 10 years ago I went an got a CCW cause of all the car jackins that were goin on down by my plant. I worked on the eastside of Detroit, in the GHETTO'S an the LITTLE kids was pullin car jacks to have some street creds. Best 80 bucks I EVER spent! I spent 13 months in V.N. an it felt GOOD to carry a weapon again. Wifey pooh even learned how to shoot. That's why I got a 9mm. so she could have better control of it. Otherwise I'da gone with a trusty .45! My sister has 2 pitbulls, and I've played with them since they were 8 weeks old. Loveable critters, but they go CRAZY when someone comes to her door! Their good with her family, but they do get excited when strangers come around! I do go over there ALOT just caz I DON'T want them to forget who I am, NOT because I love my goofy assed sister! Besides shes just one of FOUR MUCH older sisters of mine. Being the youngest of 6 kids, they OWE me for the crap I had to put up with growin up with their screwy selves!!! one day it'll pay off I hope, caz them doggies love me( i like ta play with them)an maybe when they get old an senile they won't EAT me!! It's 32 out now, and it's only sposed ta get up to aroubd 50, but that's ok, cas SUMMERS comin!! There makein a BIG deal about it bein Opening Day, over at Comerica Park, but the Tigers are a useless team in my opinion, have been for MANY MANY years! I honestly DON'T believe THIS year will be ANY different!!! 270 days ta go, Cummon SUMMER!!!!

The kids are comin over later,so I wanna cut the grass an pick the yard up from Fred's buisness, so me an Emmi can play Run Run Chase!!! I LIKE bein a Grandpa!!! ONLY 269 days ta go!!!!
