Hey all..Thanks for letting me be part of your site, which is one of the best hobbies on the planet. This is my third time in life getting involved in modeling only this time...I,m retired and can really dig deep into it. What I like most are dioramas and in 2010 I put a really cool one together and put some pics on my computer and as soon as I can figure out how to move them I will post them for you all to see.Anyway,...My name is Trevor, but I go by eppy55, I am 57 years young and live in Kawartha Lakes Ontario Canada now after moving up here in 2011 after retiring from a car and truck manufacturer in Oshawa in 2009.(i shoulda did this 35 years ago). What I have seen so far on this site and others I have been to is simply mind blowing!!! Incredible talents!!!I,m so glad you belong to this hobby !!!! Thanks and bye fer now, Trevor!

Hi. I suppose that I am something of a rarity here. A modeler who doesn't model. I can see the question marks going off over everyone's head. I suppose that I had better explain. I started building models way back about 1960. And I was a pretty avid builder until an accident put an end to my building days back in 1995. I lost the fine motor control in my right hand that I needed to build. That put an end to that. But I never lost my interest in model building and that's why I'm here. I've seen a lot of models that have brought back a lot of fond memories. Most of the kits I remember building myself. But there are a few that I don't remember. I suppose that's to be expected. I really wish that I was still able to build because there seems to be so many really good kits available today. I miss a really great hobby. But I can't believe the prices today!! It's crazy! Wal-Mart here doesn't sell kits any more, and the only place locally to buy them is Hobby Lobby. I imagine that the mail-order places do a pretty brisk trade these days. Any way. I'll probably too in a comment from time to time, or offer a long forgotten tip. I hope that's okay with you guys.
Robert
