Name is Ernest, I'm 42 years old. I'm from Oklahoma, but currently live in Idaho. I've been building since I was 12. I am happily divorced and have a 13 year old daughter. I work in the HVAC trade installing furnaces and the like. I buildin Fords and Mercs exclusively. I enjoy detailing engines because I suck at body work and paint. I'm a veteran, baptist, and my blood type is O-pos. I like trading ideas and parts, although my parts stash is limited to blue oval stuff. Thanks for letting me join up, MJ.

Just found out about this site today. My name is Mike Stypolkowski, I'm from Bloomington, Illinois. I've been building for longer than I can remember. I build factory stock, some NASCAR, and vintage drag racers. Always looking for new ways of building, and willing to share ideas that have worked for me.

Hello All. My name is Charles and I live in North Florida. In my youth I enjoyed constructing models of all types and have always felt it a positive experience through my whole life. Now I want to pass on this life lesson to the grandkids. Curiously though, I have discovered that you can pick up many (pre-constructed) models at yard sales that only need some restoration to become resurrected to new glory. Just maybe, that in wanting to help out this new generation, I have found a new niche that is going to provide me with entertainment for my personal spare time. I am seeking some inspiration and ideas from this Internet outlet sitting on my desk and the skills of helpful hobbyists like you folks. I come to this forum ... a student.

Hi to everyone my name is Gene and been building off and on since the late 50ies or very early 60ies, just got back into to it a while back. I live in N.E. Alabama and have since the late 60ies, I was born in Dayton Ohio. I like building stock production convertibles mostly, I'll even cut up a promo once in a while if need be to get what I'm looking for. I also like restoring older kit more than building a fresh one. Anyway hope to get to know some of you along the way and make some new friend as well.

Most of my work has been scratch built race cars and rat rods, and some kit builds, factory stock or modify the kit, but I haven't done any restorations. After finding this forum, I'm thinkin' I want in on some of this. Ripper
