Here's a 300 H that I've had for a while. ( another Lady in Waiting) It's pretty clean , luckily it was no glue bomb when I got it. It was painted Gray except for the hood. 1962 Chrysler 300 H JoHan # C-4062 How I got it. After I stripped it and re-primed. Here's the problem, the executive decision, that I now need to make. As I researched the 300 H I found that all the pics that I found the car was in white or red.(and they both look sharp) So what shall it be: White? or Red? HELP! I like them both ,and only have one car! Give me your thoughts no matter what they may be. Thanks for looking, Jerry

How about white AND red?? Red body, white interior, or reverse order??? I know i have seen 1:1's that were blue, silver, green, and black. They looked factory stock also.

"I know i have seen 1:1's that were blue, silver, green, and black. They looked factory stock also. " According to this site: www.chrysler300club.com/The colors on the 300 H were: 1962 BB-1 Formal Black 9000 PP-1 Festival Red 71203 WW-1 Oyster White 8293 ZZ-1 Caramel 22095 and there was this, that I didn't know before starting the research on this car. "Nineteen sixty-two saw not only the continued production of the "Letter Series" with the 300H, in two door hardtop and convertible styles, but also the introduction of an entry level three hundred model produced in two door hard top, convertible and, new for '62, both four-door hard top and a four door sedan body styles. " What you may have seen in the other colors were probably one of the "entry level" cars. Up until I read this I always thought that all through the 60's all 300's were letter cars. Jerry

The white really lets the body features and trim stand out and be noticed. Great choice jerry!!

If that's the interior that came with it, then it's an original '62 annual. The USA Oldies reissues from the 80s - 90s didn't have this interior. They came with the standard New Yorker interior.
Seeing that this has the correct Letter Series interior, you should treat it to a set of correct Letter Series wheels courtesy of the Modelhaus.
