Cuda Raptor Convertible

Well here goes....On its way is the Cuda Raptor...so far I gave it the wide hip stance by cutting into the rear quarters and pulling them out and filling the gaps with new plastic....and redesigning the grill.

Didnt quite like the hood so I went with the hood of the 71 Charger. I had to shorten it and add plastic stips to widen it as well. I think that this hoos will suit more the application that I am looking for. As for the grill....it will be custom made.

well....got some more work done on it....got the front header panel all done up, just needs some minor sanding and priming


as for teh back I decided to go with a 97 corvette rear that is in the beginning stages of being modified. I will be doing some subtle changes as time goes to give it a look of its own...the corvette rear is a good base to start with for the look Im aiming for

Ok...got more progress on the back end....slowly taking the shape Im working for.....I cut off the bottom half of the Vette and scratchbuilt the rollpan from multiple strips of plastic to get a compound curve to it. After sanding the first layer i covered the first layer with .010 thick sheet, then added the bumper. Still have lots of work involved to get it juuuuuuuust right.
