Had an old 51 Turtle Back in the 70s and never got to build my dream Gasser, but here it is 40 years later. These are the inspiration. Reliable Resin supplied the body and AMT supplied one of the donor kits. Kurt ( Lizardlust) was gracious enough to send me these cool 60s narrow line tires. The aluminum mags and front suspension was robbed from a 33 Willys Van kit.

This is a good subject to build. I will be following along on the build progress.

It is "beautiful"!!! The paint is like glass. The motor was a great choice, the tires and wheels are perfect for it, and the interior is cleanly done, and accents the paint very nicely. You get a monster thumbs up buddy!!!

Please excuse the delay Styro. Painted the rims with Testors (Buffing) Alum. Two coats of Black n Bue and 2 coats of clear, then foil. Have done a little more work since then. Seat belts, etc. Motor work and headers. Wrapped the cowl. Put in the glass. Now, just have to attatch the front hood and do the cals. Thanks for lookin!
