Johan 66 Olds Toronado

Hi Gang I'm starting on this 66 Olds Toronado. I got it from my friend Steve. It is a mess!!
Man did the person that built this do a horible job on the bare metal foiling!! I got a 70 Olds toronado coming to use for parts. I'll keep ya posted.

Hi gang my parts car came yesterday so I started on this Olds again. The 70 parts car was in fair shape. I used the chassis and the windows. The engine is from yet another Olds that was included with the parts. The 70 chassis had to be shortened about an 1/8 of an inch to fit under the 66 but otherwise is identical. The glass is the same. I had to reinforce the right door with scrap styreen to hold it together. Next is the bodywork. I went with the cool old school Hurst mag wheels as well.

Hi Gang!! I got the Olds in primer. I'm going to try and paint it today if the weather holds out. I'm going with a dark red, like this ad I found online. This one is turning out nice.

I got the Olds finished!!! I really like the lines of this car. The right door came out real slick!!! Thansk everyone for the great comments.
