I bought this as a built kit, but when I got it, the Post Office had pretty much disassembled it for me. The body was painted, but nothing else. The paint had dust and glue on it. So.... I gently sanded out the paint and gave it a couple of coats of clear then some wax to bring the shine out. Then I painted the interior a flat glove leather color. Then the running boards were painted to look like a cherry wood between the chrome ribs. The paint is not really dusty, it just has a lot of little sparkles in the sun. This represents a Rolls that was made in America. Don't believe me....do a search on Rolls and check wikipedia, They were actually made here for a while!!!!! I hope you enjoy this "made in America" oldie.
