Found this on a local SwapMeet for 1/1 cars today. In a box full of junk, missing engine, wheels and interior. The -69 Daytona/Charger 500 from MPC, later AMT will provide me with the missing parts. The Dodge is now taking a bath in brakefluid.

Keep the stock chassis and paint the body top banana yellow. There is just something about the old Coronets and yellow that I really like.

Top Banana is cool, but I´m going for Silver with black top, black hood and maybe black Bumble Bee stripe. I have a reference car that I just love:

I second the stock chassis vote, and think both those color combos would look great!

I've always liked the snarky looking muscle cars, and Mopars did that better than most. The silver R/T is gorgeous and a perfect example. Danbury has a '68 Road Runner, silver with a BVT and a red interior, that is a great example of excellent use of color.
HOWEVER, the Danbury 69.5 SuperBee 6-pack is one of my favorite models ever, and with all that ORANGE, it ain't gonna sneak up on anybody!
Curious, what was glued to the upper rear of the front fender?

Curious, what was glued to the upper rear of the front fender? The remains of huge rear view mirrors (truck-model). The kit came with a small U´haul, trailer. (trailer missing though) And thanks for all the feedback everyone ! Sorry to say, but progress is slow, due to lack of time But hang in there, This one Will Be Finished ;D

My 2cents: I think your first version is a winner. I feel the pro street thing is waining. This from a guy who built ONLY P/S for 3 years.. Either way, you will have a great build going on...
