Just want to introduce myself, I am returning to the hobby after approximately 20 years. I am primarily interested in older models from the '60's which was my modeling heyday. Used to get $1.00 a week allowance in those days so every two weeks I would have enough for a typical AMT kit selling for $1.29 and some left over for paint. Ha ha, what those kits are worth today! So the world of the internet via eBay has allowed me to begin collecting old screw bottom models and promos which need varying levels of restoration. I look forward to sharing tips and methods.

Welcome Crusader! I'm kinda new here too! I can dig where yer comin from as far as the 2.00 kits go, I usedta have 3 paper routes AND cut grass to keep me in model money. That was a LOOOONG time ago. I'm such an ol fart I gotta learn howta post pics so ya'll can see how far I HAVEN'T come!!! ;D
