Head colds ARE A DRAG!!! hope yer feelin better. Yeah, Theresa's talkin about MAYBE gettin a new car. I priced a CTS V the other day, it was a 10 model, an that rascal was STILL 35,800. But hey, it was cheap considering what a NEW one goes for! Don't think I need that much horespower though. I just LIKE the looks of the car! Gonna look at some v-6 2010 cts's I think 300 horse is enough to get it out of it's own way, plus THOSE go for about 10 K cheaper!!! an with the gas goin up, it MAY be the smarter thing to do. Hope yer feelin better bro!!!

Da Merc seems to be workin out nicely. I got a shiny new grille off a FedEx truck today (where the one on it is broke),and a Kenwood CD player,mounting kit/wiring harness,500 Watt amp and crossover should be here from Crutchfield tomorrow (tracking it-I still have that box of 15" Fosgates that light up that I took in trade for that Blazer cowl hood last Fall ),and I've gotten one tank of 18.96 MPH (running the piss out of it on a hilly drive home in hella headwinds at 80+MPH) and 24.22 around town driving it more sanely. Plus,ZERO pain or issues driving/ridig in it,PLUS it hauls bikes nicely ;D

I had been planning to order me a new Surly Cross Check frame and fork (cyclocross,kinda road bike-ish with skinny knobbies,like my Origin 8,my go-to city bike) for $430 out the door (thats about $125 off with free tax and labor to swap everything between the two...it's goo to have repat customer discounts )....just cause I likes it better than mine and I can't use my rear fender (can on the CC). That went out the window yesterday. I had the $430 set back from where I sold the Mustang,plus a few other $ set back from it as well. I gt tired of begging thekids to use one of their XBoxes (bringing it downstairs),and went and bought a 3rd Xbox 360,LMAO!

There is a new bike coming though,and for that price,maybe 2...I joined the fold,so to speak,ordered me a folding bicycle to keep in the van for those timesI'm somewhere without a real bike and have the urge to ride a new place,LOL! I'll shoot pics whe it gets here. I read buttloads of testimonials on several brands,and on every one of em (brand's pages),there were several that claimed "my spouse had never ridden a bike and learned on this bike in an hour",so I may get another one for the Wife,heeheehee!

I might not be on the next few days...still sick as a dawg,but gunna try a 96 hour start-fiish build at midnight. Building AMT's recent release of the 2 kits in 1 box '2 Ford Model T as a rod

Toljaz I'd be bock! Mj, I noticed on FB the Montes got red stripes all over it. Is this a prime coat before wetsand to make sure the steel is straight? or is it actually a paint scheme? So sorry,Brother G,I been uber busy doing nothing I need be doing (including benchtime)...been riding almost EVERY day lately,and blogging half of it (disabledcyclist.wordpress.com),and got some nice vids of a couple ridesas well...

Nick's first ever trail riding,adn one my daughter shot yesterdee* of me in our local park (that I ride to,ride in,and ride home from most days )...


*Yes,I drug y teenaged daughter about 3/4 mile up a trail to shoot it...but in my defens,it was a mmild section of trail,and HER idear Besides,it was a good cool down ride after having just finished riding all of their "Advanced Skills Required" trails (what the park map calls em)

COOL Steve! Glad ta see yer feelin good enough to bike again!!! Dam, them trails be lookin like they DON'T mess around!!! Would probably make a good Gran Prix course for some Go-Karts! Gotta say though, it IS some beautiful country. Gotta get a ways out the city ta be able to see scenery like that, an we got no mountains 'round here! OK,ya dun checked in an even SHOWED wat was keepin ya busy,so u get ta slide,an your abscence will be excused. I know wat's keepin ol Mj busy, you seen pics of Matt's Monte on FB? Hope the weather stays nice for ya so you can gettchu some good bikein time in!
