The body, interior tin, and headers are a resin kit from ModelMartin and was very, very nicely casted and the rest is from the AMT Bantom Blast kit. Here are the 2 kits involved:

Thanks guys. Bruce, my wife is a big VW fan to and that is why I got this resin kit cause it was a VW that I didin't have. Have you seen the other VW funnycar resin kit they offer? That one is next on my hit list along with the old IMC bug kit.

man, you did a great job on this. love the color.
you know there are two of these style vw kits out there. i built one like this out of a vw plastic kit. mine is green too. ain't that weird?
it's in the drag section too. have a look.
on a side note. i have recently acquired several vw 1-1 bodies and am going to build one into one of these, to run in the altered class i race in. that should get people talking at the drags.
again, you did a great job on this.
