Bobby(madmodeller) passed this on to me and I'm passing along the sad news.
Ed Ryan(62ss) had a massive heart attack on Tues. He is in a drug induced coma right now. His son Will just called me today. Drs are giving him a 50-50 chance right now. I just saw him at the 3 Rivers Show on Sun. He won 3 awards that day. I will keep you updated as I get news.
To Ed(62SS) and to his family......

update on 62SS(Ed).......
Hey guys I'm here to give an update. Lots of you guys know my dad Ed (62ss). On Tuesday morning at work he had a heart attack. He went to Ohio Valley Hospital where he was admitted and fully conscious. My mom and I went to leave to pick p my little brother. We were called that my dad went into a cardiac arrest the next morning around 6 am. He was transferred to Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh which is part of the UPMC medical network. Great doctors if anyone was wondering. Anyways he's been placed in the CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit). My mom and I were told that there was a good chance that he may not make through Wednesday night. Well It's now friday and I'm talking to you guys about it. He's been in a drug induced coma since his arrival Wednesday morning. His blood oxygen level was below 80% when he was admitted. He's now up to 96% which is great. His blood pressure dropped dangerously low and they put him in a rotating bed (looks kinda like a submarine) to help with his circulation and bp. We just found out that on top of that he also has strep pneumonia which they have to get rid of before they can work on his heart due to infection. May explain to you guys that saw him at the 3RA show on Sunday why he looked so bad. So far he's heading in the right direction but he's still got a helluva long way to go. Thank you guys all for the concern and any other boards that you guys belong to with my dad feel free to pass the word for me. Well I'm on my way back in to the hospital. If anyone needs any updates Bobby has my phone number and he's free to pass it out to whoever needs any more info. Thanks so much guys. I'll get on here with updates as much as possible. -Will

This is the first i have heard about it. I am sorry. I wish your dad, all of the best. I hope he has a full recovery. I would like to see him get well and back to modeling. Both of you do some fine building. God bless and best wishes from the glover family.

This warms my heart that everywhere I go,it's already posted up,good show Bear  I also posted a note about it on my page,and have made several calls 'round here for extra prayers for Ed and his families. |
