Great looking Torino. I have this kit and I plan on starting on it as soon as I finish up a few other projects. How is it to build? Any issues that I need to be aware of? TIA for any info.

Great looking Torino. I have this kit and I plan on starting on it as soon as I finish up a few other projects. How is it to build? Any issues that I need to be aware of? TIA for any info. The rear end doesnt fit quite right, a matter of checking the mounting points before glueing. The engine compartment inner fenders, radiator support, and firewall have to be test fitted. I recommend test fitting the whole model together before any glueing, or painting. It has issues in several places. These i mentioned will give you a headstart....lol. The engine was the best part to build. It went together very nicely, and looks sharp when done. The interior was descent, but the bucket didnt want to fit the body very well, needs some trimming. Front suspension is a bear to fight also. Nothing fits right....lol. It looks good when your done with it, but i dont recommend kits like these, unless a person has some knowledge of problems like that already.....LOL. Sorry for the book report....LOL. Thanks again for your comments. Virgil

I would love to see it built as a twister..... I have heard of them, seen a few pics of them, but never as a scale build. Let us know when you go to build it, you definitely have my attention!!!! Thank you. Virgil I saw one built once back when I used to think Scale Auto's forums were the shizzle (ok,ok...I still visit once in a while ),it looked killer. That's where I learned Keith Marks hads the decals for the conversion, and seems like that dude sent me some links for referance pics (plus there was an article in Muscle Car Review on the Mustang version around then with some links). It'll most likely be next year best case scenario...I'm pretty well backed up on the bench for right now...but I need to do a Ford soon,so's people can stop thinking I'm a Mopar guy (well,I am...but I'm also a Ford guy,and a GM guy,and a...). I'll let you know whenever I get to it ;D Steve
