Thank you steve , I see that kit as Ford's Raven Black perhaps with a Red interior . By the way you could have bought that package too . Yep dual exausts , an a 390 mota ! What a ride !!!!!! Ed Shaver

Now your talking!!!! that would be awesome!! i can picture that happening Ya know I meant a man around 1969 that was a retired FoMoCo big wheel , in 1962 Ford built something like 10 + / - special built black on black Galaxies 500 XL convertible's as you suggested ( factory black/black, 406/4speed and automatic ) but with one major body change , the rear wheel well's were opened up much like the front ones with wheel opening molding plus they also have factory wire wheels . The reason I know this he was one of the few FMC executives to receive one , and I was lucky enough to get to see it in Huntsville Alabama where I was a gas pump jockey in the 60ies . I have hunted all over for any photos of those rare Fords .
