Well.....
This is my current project:

The Decals for the "pink" car did not come in the box, so I couldn't build a boxtop box art version. So I opted for the end-flap box art gasser.

There is enough flash on this little monster to build a whole nuther model, so there will be a lot of clean up to do.

I started with the frame:

Cleaned up all the suspension pieces, and put that all together:

And now I am working on the engine and interior. And wait until you see what I've done there.

Well....I glued the engine halves, cylinder heads, and front cover all together, and started hiding the seams:

I, also, scribed a separation line between the starter and the transmission.....'cause there wasn't one there:

Next, I turned my attention to the blob on the right side of the front cover. It's supposed to be an oil filler/breather TUBE. So, I trimmed it, sanded it and created a separation from the front cover. Now it actually resembles a TUBE:

I dechromed everything except the wheels and door handles. Cleaned up the exhaust manifolds and replaced those dorky looking funnel dumps with something more resembling the dumps on the side of the box:

I then painted them with Model Master Metallizer:

Now that all the modifications and clean-up are done, I assembled the engine, installed it, and finished the running frame with the wheels:
