Hi all, it's my first post here, and it's also my first restoration, an original old AMT 1969 ElCamino, i buy this ElCamino over then 10 yearm it was built, painted in black with an missing rear bumper, it's my first resto and it's also my part, the rear bumper, then i buy from Modelhaus, today it's praticaly impossible to inventory all my stuff from Modelhaus. After an soaking into the "Easy Off" all the black paint disappear, i use an AMT 69 Chevelle SS396 for some parts, like the engine, exhaust and three sheet of the Chevelle decals, the ElCamino is little bit more longer the a Chevelle and this is need for an nice strait side stripe, MCG provide the photoetched for the ElCamino and SS396 emblems. The paint is PPG base-coat/clear-coat in 1969 GM color code 52 Garnet Red with an urethane clear coating! Daniel
