I don't know which model to show how much i have learned. Each build seems to get better, but not all of them are equal in skill level.
This is a build i did about 7-8 maybe 9 years heck could be 10 years ago now that i think about it lol!
I think this is my second or maybe first foil job. I used to build lowriders only....my styles have changed and have not built a lowrider in many years now. I was pretty proud of this one at the time and it was not too bad, i don't think. I sold it on ebay a few years ago so these are best photos i have.

Now in the last couple of years i have tried so many things, it's hard to say where i really improved. The main thing people compliment online and in person are my foil work and paint finishes. I do know how to detail, but i am not all that crazy about wiring and stuff..but below are examples of what i can do.
i am pretty anal about my paint finishes...

my foil work is pretty smooth i guess

a 302 from revell roadster that i still have not finished and the chassis.. this is where i have pushed my envelope of detailing. there are parts so small that even with good eyes they are hard to see and barely show up in my photos.

there are about 50 hex head bolts holding parts on such as valve covers, tranny pan, differential cover, front and rear sump plugs etc..
(compared to a stick pin head)

hard to see , but there is a knock sensor installed on the side of the pan. if you see a thin black wire, that is how tiny the head is where the wire is attached and has a rubber boot over it.

well, i hope i improved a little lol ....mainly i think everyone has it in them to do whatever they want to do...just have to want to is all.
