i loved to watch this car run back in the day. it didn't hurt that it was olds powered, since i was into them heavy too. i always wanted to build one like it, but it was a '28 chevy, hard to come by now. i thought, maybe use a '29 ford body and modify it to look like one. i came across a '29 ford roadster 'glass body cheap, so i bought it. i probably should have built a model first, but what the heck.
the cowl is a '32 ford and the bottom of it is cut 2 scale inches. the doors are cut 2 inches narrower. pretty close. good enough for me.
