Ok, time for some of you guys who collect vintage kits to help me out here. A friend of mine lost his Dad recently and he found this kit while cleaning out his house. He said his Dad used to work on these 1/1. I told him I will build it for him, I will not keep this. Any help as to the year this was produced and if it holds any significant value unbuilt would be helpfull.   |

The year would be 1962 , and it's worth around $1200.00 if it's still complete and sealed inside . It would be worth way more unbuilt then if it was built. Looking at the box it could reduce the price just a little bit . Seen two of these sell in the last few years and both sold in the 1000.00 range .

Wow! I figured it was worth something, no idea that much. I talked to who gave it to me and he says build it.
