I'm here, Bob. Part of it may be because it's summer and lots of things going on with good weather.....maybe. Maybe the yahoo group thing.....lots of visiting, but little talking. We may have to inject a little glue and paint into some people. I have the same situation on my forum. There are some posts that i have put up and got no responses at all. Maybe some day I will get this thing right.

I visit a bunch, post in a few on a regular basis. I wont post in sites that I get a "holier than thou" attitude from other members post. If I see something I really like I may post, otherwise, I look, lurk, whatever you call it.

I'm here Bob, I stop in all the time I just don't post much (might be because I never get anything done lol). I do like it here, the people do great work and MJ has driven me to repair somethings instead of buildin' new kits. Geeeze hackin on more projects no wonder nothing gets complete. Love it.

If I see something I really like I may post, otherwise, I look, lurk, whatever you call it. I really don't think you have to worry about that here. NONE of us, from what I've seen, take that attitude. Yes, Ive seen that on the yahoo groups quite a bit. And it irks the livin' snot outa me. Kinda takes me back to my old IPMS with the rivet counters and color shade "experts". The whole idea of this hobby is to do what you like to do, enjoy it, share it and be happy with it. Yes, from time to time, you might get some constructive criticism, but it is never intended to tear you down, but to help you with a technique, or idea you might want to try on your next project. |
