I won this one on e-bay, real cheap! I figured it would be a major strip and refit to get a decent car. It won't. The car was a very nice build/conversion by Jerry Holst. It had a builders card with it. It is the IMC Ford GT Mark II that has been converted to the X-1 roadster. The real car won the 1969 Sebring 12 hour race. It was driven my the team of Miles & Ruby. It was later destroyed on purpose. This will be a simple restore since the original builder did such a good job of aligning body panels and fitting the parts for the conversion. More pictures to follow.

Well, sat down with the glue and got to work. You can see glue marks around the windows, they will disappear, the glue dries clear and I can use a sharp Xacto knife to peel off the excess. I am still learning how to use lighting with my new camera. the paint is very nice and shiny. Now I just have to change the distances a little so I don't get all of the glare. This was an easy restoration. Just a little glue and fitting. I am really happy to have this roadster in my collection or Ford GTs. I hope you like it!
