Saw this at a show on Fathers day. I will build a model of this car!!!! Such a beautiful car deserves to be re-produced in scale, and that color is just OUTSTANDING!!! Jerry

Jerry some body did a resin of the 62 GP , don't remember who it was. Look like an easy car to replicate . Would be cool for sure.

All you need is a 62 Catalina. They were both the same wheelbase. I'm not sure, BUT I THINK the modelhaus would carry the old AMT parts, but, if they'll FIT the newer 62 kit is ANOTHER question.Let me go check. OK, the ORIGINAL AMT 62 Bonny grille is about 1 mill SHORTER than the NEW 62 Poniac grille. They are BOTH the same WIDTH, so it WILL fit, but the body sculpture lines along the SIDE of the car don't fit properly.. The GP has a different grille design than the Cat, but the rear end is the same. You'd hafta find the REAR grille(the part BETWEEN the tailights)to make it COMPLETE, but it sure LOOKS like you could build one! I'd go for it if it were mine! ;D

There was a 62 GP resin body showing up on E Bay a while back but haven't seen it lately and it looked pretty nice but your right about the 62 Catalina it should do the trick with a few changes
