Since I was basically at a stand still on my 69 to 70 conversion, I decided to build my other 69 Charger. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Revell # 85-2546 I painted it with Plast-kote Dark Green Metallic # 1017 I was concerned with my choice of tires as to whether they would fit under the rear . I noticed that the tires (Mickey Thompson Holly cheater slicks) were right up against the springs. This was an easy fix, just add a spacer to set them out. then the concern was will they fit under the body? Answer. . . No! The answer to that was a block to lift the car in the rear. Done that and tested the fit under the 69/70 Charger and it was good. The interior is painted with Model Master Dark Green (mil#FS34079) as is the top. And that my friends brings you up to speed on this project. Thanks for looking, Jerry

A very cool looking car. The color is eye candy, and opening the doors is a great touch.

The interior is done. I've been looking for a certain mill for this car. I know I have it , just don't know where I put it! Jerry

I hate to spoil your vision but the 70 has the opening doors, this is a out of box (for the most part) build. LOL

Well It seems that the mill I wanted to use is hiding from me,(because I'm looking for it). so that means that to get this build completed and off the bench I'll have to find something else or just put the 440 in it.
Oh you want to know what I was going to drop in, well , the elusive motor was a slant six from the XR-6 with 3 Weber's. that would have been a neat surprise, if I could find the box it's hiding in.
Stay tuned for more. Jerry

Here's the 440 so far. Maybe I'll put a blower on it, don't really want to throw just the 4 barrel on. Hmmmm what to do? Jerry

The motor is looking good. There are a lot of possibilities for the intake.

OK, I found another 440. I believe it's from a Little Red truck with an automatic behind it. So this is one thought running through my mind, as the blower manifolds fit this engine better than the original 440. If I do this I'll have to cut the hood, (naturally). The other option is take the426 from the other '69 ('70 conversion), But I think that should stay where its at for the '70. Hmmm, what to do? In the meantime I'll keep looking for the 6. Jerry

Man it looks pretty sweet. I would go for the "sleeper" look with all the engine under the hood. I never was one to advertise what I was packin' under the hood. Either way it's a sweet car!!! Great job.

Those wheels look soooo good on there, the motor sticking up looks mean. I hope you get your motor issues worked out, so we can see it done...LOL.
