42 an SUNNY out! REAL nice lookin day so far! Ended up go to help a freind put some cabinets up in his sons kitchen, an I asked him, Do I need ta bring any tools? Naw, just bring yerself he says. So i do. when I get ther, he DOESN'T even have A LEVEL!!!! Yeeesh, it's a wonder he can even THINK!. Needless to say, we came BACK here, and got ALL the stuff we needed, an went back! We got 2 of 4 cabinets hung, an now I'm waitin for him this mornin to go back and finish. wish me luck!! 251 ta go!

Nothing going on here. Pops called,thinks he has the old wagon sold (needs me to bring the title tomorrow). Talked to one of riding Buds this morning...haven't been getting calls from any of those gents since I hain't ridden since mid December (methinks I orta just not worry about those fair-weather-riding friends,seein hows they never call anymore,get back on the bike secretly,show up at the annual race on our local trails,and ride em all in the ground-then when they say "Hey lets get together for a ride",say "You had yer chance"-Mwahahahahahahahahha!),and one of my bestest friends last night (from these here forums).
Gunna sit and do some chassis work on that RAO CBP Nova in a few....good day,it is ;D

ALWAYS good ta spend a few at the ol workbench! Got a mint ORIGINAL 69 JoHan RoadRunner IN THE CARTOON box, for 45 bucks this past Sunday at our Bi yearly toy show at Macomb County Comm.Coll. The vendor was right at the front, when I walked in, Theresa and I were 3rd in line when it opened, an I saw that rascal and went right for it. The man said he was just cleaning out some old stuff and it was one of 'em! SCORE of a LIFETIME! I asked him how much (thinkin it'd be at least 150 bucks or more)So when he told me $% Bucks, I JUMPED on it! YEEESSSS!!!I remember skippin school with a freind, goin downtown(Detroit) an walkin into Woolworths(usedta be a BIG 5 & 10 store here)and buying this kit for 2.00 in 69! I've got about 6 of them, in fact, I STILL have THAT SAME model, but the box has been gone for DECADES! Just lookin at the BOX brings back such GREAT memories! I also picked up an original JoHan 58 Olds for 25 bucks too! This guy woulda got ALOT more of my cash, but Therese kinda tends to keep my head on straight! If it wasn't for her, I'd probly spent ALL my bucks with i or 2 vendors! She's REAL good to take places!
Like I said, she helps keep my eyes from drainin my WALLET!!! Felt good to relate that score, funny, i THINK it was the BOX that cinched it for me. I got a few of those old Cartoon Boxes, 69 GTX, 70 442, 69 442,
70 SuperBird, I still look for 'em, caz I just like 'em!!! Maybe I should stop build an collectin Models, an just go for the boxes?,,,,,,,Nahh!!!

That's a kool backstory to go with those sweet scores,George! ;D ;D ;D Today was decent...had a lawyer recommended shrink appt (I'm too conceited to be very depressed,and for very long,LMAO!),dinner at the Donalds (the Mc-Donalds   ) with the kids,and Tina made it while we were still in line to order (kids home around 3:45 each day,she's off work at 4,Mickey's is in the middle),and we sat outside at the tables in the shade and enjoyed the weather,talked about our days...good times. That's really about it today though. Tommorrow,I'll try and mow,The Hill,and around the bottom lot so's the trampolene is accessable to the kids without fear of Copperheads,and work on the chassis of a to-be-very-modded build (shooting for a "rolling chassis" by Monday on it),as well as do some stretching and heavy bag work (as the injuries allow,that is),play with the SPAWN OF SPOT a little,maybe even get a little spraying done...or finally crack open that new compressor and practice a lil airbrishing (by weekend anyways)... Yeah,been a decent week,and a purdy dang good day  |

LOL,I have so far...put the kiddos on the bus,laid down to rest my eyes...next thing I knew it was 11:30  ;D I guess I orta go get that Hamburger Helper started,then mow The Hill (but rather than mow,methinks I'll work on that Nova's Chassis  ),run tho the PO (but I'll rather drive,thankyouverymuch ),and get out and enjoy the beautiful day. Kool beans on the tree. Sounds to me if the leaves look good it's fine (I'm no botanist though,LOL!). Well,I better go brown some meat for the Helper...LMAO! |

Beautiful day in every way,couldn'ta been better even had it been wetter. Got some putty work done to the Nova SS,I even cleaned up,and left no mess. I'm well on my way to having the goal met this weekend,and I didn't even hafta cram,or even start freakin. Got a grand report from Nick's teacher,so well behaved,got to play extra,not sit on the bleacher. He also had a hard spelling test,I was worried,but he got a 100,in the class his was the best. He hasn't acted out,no not one time,all week he behaved,as quiet as a mime. Jamie's grades are as usual great,she's kinda a genious-she's my child so it's fate. Spent some quality time with the wife-almost all eve,but after the workout,I could barely breathe (get yer mind outta the gutter,I meant the excersizing,not the horizontal strutter). There's plans for tomorrow to visit my Dad,hafta put her car up on the repairing pad. The front has a shimmy that gets worse with speed,but I didn't get it fixed because of my model-buying greed. So we'll check it all out and make the repair,so each time she leaves I won't worry,no dispair. It'll be alright cause it's still a Ford,not a really fancy one,but it's comfortable and adored. But I have a plan,a big surprize,when I get approved,there'll be sparkle in her eyes. Cause I'm gunna sneak out and buy her a new one,that's nice,that's safe,for her,the daughter and the son. But I need to go before this gets habitual,and start to wind down,do my nightly ritual. It's just my thing-I'm sure you have one too,mine just involves nicotene and slushy Mtn Dew. So I'll shut up now,and leave you with this-y'all are great friends,and I wish you a weekend of bliss |

T-Storms all night last night,looks like tonight as well. Gorgeous day today. Took the kids to both the Breaks (Breaks Interstate Park),AND the Flannagan Dam. Went out on a couple rented boats (Tina and Nick,paddle boats-Jamie and I a Canoe),did a little illegal fishing......in that I have yet to renew my license,that will be done this week since we are gunna fish some. Catch and release only A grand day...right up till I watched a new River Monsters where this dude in the Amazon had a parasitic fish about the size of a pencil swim up his...pee hole ,and then these other agrressors were shown-a corpse came to the coronor looking like it had bullet holes,but when the autopsy begun,the body was found hollow'd out leaving only bones and flesh,the fish that did it attack and burrow in and kill ya from the inside,and do it VERY quickly. I'm watching another new episode as I type about an invador to America's waters...the Snakehead (google em),they can breathe air,come on land,are uber aggressive,and eat anything they can catch...and "have what it takes to over-run the Americas Guess what...I ain't lettin the kids swim in the parks lakes anymore,and neither am I  |

Gorgeous day out today...as was each day of the weekend. At night the last few days,though,monssons! Spent today with daBoss-Lady,just chillin and "other" things  ;D,and some time cleaning out some ditchline around the driveway/lot,cause it's starting to look like a small pond,ugh! Back to the bench tomorrow (hopefully) ;D And MJ...I know I won't go swimming in nature's water anytime soon,LMBO!!! |

Uh Hu,"River Monsters"is a good show. an you KNOW there's some crazy out there puttin Pirana's
an stuff in florida lakes! I saw where they were afraid of them gettin used to cold water! Nope never goin in tha water again, less itsa pool or the shower! (IF i don't haf to!!!) Sounds funny ,caz I got the Detroit River not 4 miles from me,straight down Southfeild Rd. Just make a Left at the corner. I grew up hangin out there alot! The area wasn't all messed up yet, like it is now. 57 out right now an SUNNY! Lookin like ANOTHER GREAT DAY!!!! C'mon SUMMER!!!!!246 left!

Lotsa errands run'd today,no bench-time. Might not be tomorrow either...no errands to do (that I can think of),but some stuffs I wanna/needta get done. The wife's been...pissy...all eve (and yes,it is that time of the month-3rd day of it,actuallyLMAO!),so I'm ina mood myself,so that's all I gots tonight. Hope yerall's went better |

Missed you guys. Been crazy here the last couple of weeks. Kid getting stitches on her chin, wife suffering from a migraine for almost 2 weeks straight, work, house work cause wife was in no shape to do anything (drugged up cause of pain). She is finally doing better with the new med they gave her and my daughter is back to running around like nothing ever happened to her so things are good again. And now that I am caught up with my online stuff I might even get the Vette finished tonight........minus the coil since I lost the other one  |

Thanks George, yes we was spotted with short nasty bursts of storms most of the day.......hoping to get back out side some time today, i have some lettering i need to sand off my new inclosed trailer, and some of it repainted.......wanna play in the shop some today too........seeings how i am the only one home today till 2:30 pm i guess i get some free time..............
OUCH Marc i know the feeling, never enough time in the day to do it all......
can only do what we can do i guess.... i hope every one likes the forum here, i know its slow but heck thats good i think.......
