It's 46 out this moanin, but they's talkin about it startin ta rain by wednsday (tomorrow). So it'll make my yard all soggy too. Fred's gonna love it. I JUST cave his little butt a bath an now he'll go out ROLLIN in it!!! Jus can't win with a Westie!!! Well I's GLAD yer back was well enuff to do SOME stuff Steve, I know what it's like ta NOT be able ta do ANYTHING without hurtin! Gettin old is fer the birds! 299 days ta go!!!

I was joking (shouldn't even joke about that,eh?   ) about the cold! LOL! I let it pass,some dude bought it for $115 and change. It occured to me I could replicate that kit for far less,and since I was wanting it to build,not collect...twas a no-brainer. Sposed to get a little wet today,but upper 60's. Gunna go have some new speakers installed in the KIA today (the two that the roll bar have to be removed for,LOL!),and hopefully get a lil bench time for the first in a week or two ;D |

It's 42 already an the weatherman says it'll start rainin tonite an for the nexy coupla days! Oh well, it DOES mean spring IS comin!!! 297 left. Get you some quality time on that bench Bro!!! ;D

Well,it rained a bit in the afternoon,but hovered in the mid-60's most of the day ;D ;D ;D No bench time...I got caught up on Evilbay looking at more '40 Fords (see my Ebay thread),and I'm "watching" a few more NIB '40s,hoping that 1-2 of em will be had for a song or two,LOL! Actually,I'm so pumped for a couple secret projects I'm scheming about (Virgil knows  ) that I'm finding it hard to sit down with either that RAO Nova or that Primered Rod CBP '39 Chevy  Plus,what shoulda been an hour job replacing the 2 rear speakers at the stereo shop today turned into a few hours sound testing speakers/head units,deciding what I wanted vs what I could afford/she wouldn't shoot me over. I wound up replacing all 6 speakers in the KIA (2 dash tweets,2 door/2 rear speakers). It turns out the factory Hyundai CD player from my Dad's Tiburon is putting out more wattage to the speakers than many of the over-$200-250 aftermarket units he had in stock,so's I kept it,and had him run all new high end wiring too ;D Not a high end/extravigant system by any stretch of the words,but it was enough that my ears still ring a little after the 40 minute drive home listening to Disturbed,Rob Zombie and Powerman 5000 (Rob Zombie's lil Brother's band)  Tomorrow,Jamie will have her first sleepover guest of the year,and Nicholas will feel left out,so I either won't get any bench time,or I'll grab him and share the bench time  My bestest riding Bro called today,telling sweet stories of Sunday's ride on his new (unseen by my eyes yet  ) Surly Instigator (burly mtn bike,nie unbreakable Surly claims)...I wanna ride,but I know better to just yet...if I ever getta the way I love to again But hey,a over a year ago,I had a life change from soul provider to Mr. Mom,and this not being an avid 5 times per week mtn biker is just another step in this journey of my life ;D |

But not hard, just enuff to make it nasty mushy muddy crappy!!!

I definately appreciate the prayers,George,that's the only real way things get done ;D I wish it was just a nerve problem...He can fix it,but the only way Docs can with today's technology is to try and rebreak and reset my neck in 2 places,and there'd be a high risk of paralysis...so laying off the bikes-even if long term-is a small price considering,LOL! Feeling better,about 80% (my 80%,which is 80% of what it was before the injuries ),just been so dang busy no time to fart it seems,LOL! Beautifully warm day in the low 70's,but been threatening to rain all day. I hear-tell on the radio just 30 minutes to our SW they're gettin pumelled by T-Storms,but just cloudy here ;D |

Well, it was rainin all day, but not realy rainin, just more of a steady drizzle. Gets old REAL fast. I hope they aren't kidding about it not rainin next week, a it IS in the upper 50's like they say. Hopefully, it IS gettin springtime soon!!295 left!!!

Rained a little,but threatened to all day. A little cooler too,lower 50's,but hey...WAY better than this time last month ;D No benchtime,but that's OK,extra kiddos over for most of the day,and was a decent day regaurdless of benchtime |

Steve, i'm appericiatin what yer sayin about the kiddo's! My daughter Joy's been married about 8/9 years now, an givin us a 5 year old an a 6 month old, an they are nuthin but cool! Emmy likes Barbies, an I haven't played Barbies since Joy was that age!!! Carter is still a baby, but he's still fun ta play with! I just can't wait till he's old enuff ta show him how ta build! Joy did when she was young, at least till she discovered boys!! I still have her models! NO plastic EVER gets thrown out around HERE! It just gets recycled!!! Hope I'm around long enuff ta take Carter to the model club meetings, an have him work the model show at the Detroit AutoRama withme!!! No rain this moanin, but it's still nasty wet an damp! But you know wat they say about Michigun, Stick around long enuff an the weather'll change!!! 294 left ta go! |

Hey guys. Light rain and drizzle almost all day yesterday.....yuck! Hurt my wrist yesterday morning. Stuburn old me just toughed it out and went to work (3pm to 1am), man was that a mistake. got off from work and was hurting so bad I went to the ER. Got there at 1am and didn't get out till 6:30am this morning. Talk about a long night! Anyway, Guess I got a few days off from work but it hurts to try and hold on to anything so I guess I still won't get any bench time in.........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Catch ya'll later.

Hey Marc, hope yer feelin better! Gettin old's a real bich ain't it? Hope ya DON'T have Carpal Tunnel problems. I've had surgery on BOTH wrists,and it DID work. I used to use airtools on my job and that's what messed me up. Hope you heal up fast. It's 42 out this moanin,and hopefully it'll be sunny an dry up all the wet. I'd like ta play outside with Fred the Wonder Dog. WE've been couped up all winter, and it'd be nice to be able to throw the ball an run the yard again! Hope all is well with YOU too Steve, I been prayin for ya, an I'll add you to my list too,Marc.

Thanks George. I'm pretty sure I had the early stages of carpal tunnel and I think when my wrist popped it really excellerated it. Wrist is in a splint now but its not helping much but it sure is making it hard for me to type lol.
