Hi fellas, i made my way back. I havent done much for building, but the notion is coming back. My "issues" were more mental than physical, and i have come to the reality they arent going away, so the only thing to do is get back to what i like doing....building models!!! I have a project i want to finish, and when i do i will get it posted. Thank you all for your patience.

Glad to see you made it back. Not sure what going on with you but I know I've been having issues off and on for over a year now. Most of mine is just trying to figure out how to pay bills when there isn't enough work to out there, gets really frustrating. Hang in there, hopefully things will get better for both of us soon.

Luckily it was a short 2 month burnout. I have had periods of down time up to 2 yrs in the past. A couple of days ago, i started my own model forum. I am very pleased with it, and i have a sense of pride with it. The build subjects are: Factory/box stock, muscle cars/trucks, prostreet/hotrod/ratrod, oval and straightline drags. I am keeping the build era from 1900-1980. I am building once a week now, and i am ready to get back after it, but i wont rush trying to do more than 1 or 2 builds at a time. Well,I for one am glad to hear yer slump is over,my friend! And you may need to remind me on the rare occasion I build something newer than 1980 that all those builds BEFORE 1980 are welcome there,LOL!!!  Also,sometime this weekend,folks,I'll do up a post on it on my site,and will be adding the link there,good Lord willing (another winter strom heading this way fast...ugh  ). |
