Here is something I've been thinking about since I started helping Mj out with the forum and I thought I would get input from all of you. Ok, below are some words and I just want your opinion about what types of kits you would associate with them. Ready to play...........here we go: - Vintage Model Kit:
- Classic Model Kit
- Old Model Kit
- Current Model Kit
- Discontinued Kit
What I'm looking for is what kind of kit would you consider vintage, classic, ext. Is it the age of the kit, or would it have more to do with if it has been reissued or not? Thats the type of answers I'm looking for. And if anybody has any other terms they would like to discuss fire away.

I agree with bob on some of those. Vintage.......25yrs old, or older Classic........15-25 yrs old Old.......same as above current......Available on the shelf today Discontinued........no longer offered by the manufacturer.
Commission built.........You are compensated to build or restore a kit for someone Restored.....A built model or "glue bomb" that is disassembled to fix all of the problems, and make a better build....Mj's specialty...lol.
Builder.......One that is buildable, but not a "glue bomb" Collector......One who collects models as a future "pay-off" instead of building, and/or collects to build.
Just my thoughts. Virgil
