I think I started this one about 10 yrs ago, painting and assembling the motor, painting all the suspension and chassis as well as all the interior stuff. Back then I painted just about everything shiney lol. When I dug this kit back out for a project I didn't like the gloss grey interior or the gloss grey on the chassis and suspension parts so I through them all in the brake fluid and stripped them clean. Here is the box top: Hosted on FotkiAnd here is the almost complete motor: Hosted on FotkiAnd here is the chassis and both axles after being stripped and repainted satin black: Hosted on Fotki

Next up was the interior, it was painted gloss grey and I didn't like the looks so all the interior parts went in the brake fluid as well. Cleaned them up and shot them with the new Testors Interior Grey spray paint and I really like this stuff. It covered the red plastic with virtually no bleed through wooo hooo. Next I decided to get the exterior out of the way so I cleaned up all the parts and shot them with some white primer. OMG its Mary Kay pink now LOL : Hosted on FotkiI wasn't to worried about the bleed through on the primer since I decided to paint it red anyway. But what red.......hmmmmmmm........ I found a can of Dupli-Color Cherry Red metallic! Shot a few coats of color, then a few coats of clear and here she is (man I hate taking pics of red stuff): Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

That is making some very nice headway. I like how it is coming together. I will be looking for the updates.

Thanks Virgil, hopefully things will slow back down a little so I can get some bench time in (and computer time).

Thanks Oldskool. I know what you mean, Lindberg did several 1/20 scale kits several years ago but most folks didn't want them because of the scale. I also have the Baywatch pickup from Lindberg that is 1/20 scale as well.
