OK,technically not a rebuilder...but it didn't really fit the other catagories either...but I was recently inspired by a build elsewhere and so how-to weathering/rusting Youtubes here,so I'll be stripping off what I have done and starting over. Anyways, here are a few pics of the cab/bed/and such, and the 1:64 scaler that I was going to shoot for with it. All that was basically done before I lost interest or moved on (I really don't remember why I reboxed this one... ) was to modify the leaf springs for a lower stance (wouldn't have been low enough),and glued those on,glued the engine halves (BMF'd the valve cover),and for whatever reason painted that Chrysler engine red LOL!

I did have another one too (1:64),same exact truck, different paint scheme,it was brown primer with semi-shiny black scallops outlined in red pin-striping. I think my son commandeered that one to play with long ago,LOL!

Hmmm...what about building a pair of similar rusty rod/trucks,both slammed, built side by side? Man,now I have to get those WIP's on my bench done...I'm drooling all over the work space! ;D Crap!!! The dreaded sub-sub-folder on the Photobucket-posting -of-the-pic problems....argh!!! It's an unopened Monogram 1950 Ford F1 p/u truck . Now why did it post the pic above, which is also from a sub-sub-folder in the same Photobucket album, but it won't this one? Weird!

Thanks for the kind words, guys! ;D Virgil,I might not be able to post WIP pics,as seen above, the layout of my Photobucket may cause problems on this board (seems not to want to post pics from a sub-album that's in a sub-album of an album) . I'll definately give it a try, tho, and if it just won't,I'll PM you where to see em. No starts yet,but I may have a way to buy that rusting stuff from a Micheals...none within 100 miles of here, but my parents have access to a Micheals just a 1/2 hour drive from their house ;D Now,as long as "I'll pick some up for you" doesn't turn into the last time I heard that (about paint, last month),where even after pestering him to do it,he never got aound to it...
