I dug out the interior pieces, and got them cleaned up. There were no backs for the seat, so i made some. I have some filling, and cleaning to do, and then the seats will be ready for primer. I got the almond color painted on the body today. It is going to need some wet sanding, and then it will be ready for the royal blue to be shot on it. I am still working out ideas on the interior color/colors. It is slowly winding down....lol. Here is the seat pic.  Thanks for following the build. Virgil |

The interior is painted, the BMF has been done to the door handles, and the window cranks. I didnt like the black console, so it is blue again....lol. This pic was before i painted it blue again. I have to paint the roll bar, and detail the dash, flock the floor, and it will be a done deal. And i drilled the slots out in the steering wheel. No pic of that yet.  Thank you for your patience. I am working on the body also, so i hope to have some more pics real soon. Virgil |

Looking good Virgil. Interesting color you picked out for this build. I built this same kit many, many moons ago. So long ago that I didn't even paint the body on it (like the '69 Vette I'm restoring). I should probably do the same thing to this one some day as well. Here is mine:  Hosted on Fotki |

Interesting 2 tone there, I never would have put those 2 colors together myself but they do look good.

Thanks Marc. I have this uncanny ability to picture the colors in my head, and they always come out looking as i pictured them...lol. Once i get one more coat of ivory put on and let it dry, i can finally get the decals put on, and clear it. I plan to have it done by the end of the month.
