What i am restoring now............these are the before pic's.......






The mag wheels i switched out yesterday with a set of factory 4x4 rally wheels............

Manage to get a new passenger fender today as well as a gallon of flat black primer and a gallon of primer grade Lacquer thinner........
My oldest got the fender off my youngest son removed the hood hinge and also helped with the bottom bolt...........this and that.
I manage to get part of the rad support sand blasted to take car eof acouple small area before it became a big problem later, then sealed it in with rust killer,once that dried i sprayed it with a rubberizer, did the lower half of the rad support and the fenders that stuck past it. And also did the inside of the new fender (sprayed it with Rubberizer)...

The little purple spots is rust turning back into metal..........

Another update, I have most of it in black primer now........turns out the first spray gun wasnt any good..........second works alot better but when i go to do the color i will pick up a new gun to call my own.........
Now its time to tackle the rust problems, altho not to much but it will al be takin care of.......

Hey Mj, What happened to the wagon in the background?
I love wagons and this one looked pretty good in the Pics that I saw before!

Had to sell it, It was replaced by the K-5 blazer.......

Well parted it out then it went to the bone yard....after i sold everything off of it... PA laws are strict! and was before i new anything about them laws is why i am redoing my blazer.......

I do have pics of the wagon it was a 1982 Malibu wagon.......The engine i took out and placed in my K-5........one more reason i cant drive it... well i hope soon!

I got the front rad support painted and starting the stuff back on it,also painted the cowl..........then the fun started, took out the carpet and seats and started welding in new patch pieces tot he floor.......the new rocker goes on first week of Oct. so i need to have the floor done, which after yesterday i got it done..........

Driver side rocker panel was put on friday night (Oct 2nd).....
and today i got some color ont he hood........not the best job inthe world but then again its a first for me.........

Weather finally warmed back up, so for the last few weeks i have been working on the blazer..... here's a recap of what i have done so far....... may continue into the next post...


one of the body mounts i will be repairing.



slapped on some filler and sanded it down, then painted it with a rattle can An area that will be hard to paint once togather.
