Howdy everyone! sorry i havent been around to comment on the replys! ( thank you for them) i have been busy with this and that and also my latest on the bench........... Sorta scratch built the rear taillites and got them painted and installed (and looks mighty fine i might add!),Also built a draw bar for when i need to pull some tag behind trailers around (just need to find a pintiel <sp> hook for the back like on construction trucks so i can modify that also.i have put in heavy duty tie downs for tag behind trailer also....... Made a 5th wheel deck cover plate so know one falls in while on back ( JIM-BOB! that means you!)........ Couldnt decide on engine so i went with one from the 79 ford bronco kit (which replicates a 351m400 pretty good!) so i mated that to the C-6 trans......Because of the engine choice i am leaning torwards a 79 model.... The tool box (gang box) on the back does have a opening top lid so i can fill it with the draw bars i wont be using and extra log chains etc.........still need to finish painting it...... Wheels scuff'ed and rims painted. hope to have the chassis stuff rounded up, still need to make over load springs on the back aswell cause it is a 1 ton........ Thanks for looking! hope to catch up after the new year alittle more! OK Back to the bench Errrrrrrrrrrr well maybe i should get afew hours of sleep in first eh! ??

Got alittle more the last couple days.. Fuel tank is installed as well as the bracing, made some over load leaf springs, have them in place. finished painting the fuel tank, and over load springs. Finished the painting of the tool box and also have it glued into place. while searching thru a dollar store i came across a package of jewely bits and pieces and modifyed a neckless latch as a pintail (pinto) How ever you spell it, and mounted on a removable draw bar ,so now i have a reg draw bar and this one....... Exhaust is in,as well as the drive shaft..... Almost done with the chassis works...... truck goes in for paint later to day or tomorrow.
