Yes i know its 1:30 in the am here and burning the midnight oil or the candle at both ends! I have been wanting to do this for some time and well nothing like the present! LOL.
Long ways to go!
Gona make this a ford dealership hauler.......dont know if they had these back then (late 70s) but thats what i am shooting for! phantom if you will.....or a they should have done it LOL

Long ways to go yet but not bad for 3 hours worth of work and just wingin it! ( i tried apic and with out measuring at hand gona do my best)

Or maybe weather the truck and make it a salvage hauler.......will be building it with the two stang lls .........

Got alittle more done yesterday after my turkey coma! suprisingly i didnt take a nap LOL......
And here it is almost 1.am in the morning..........





Took one of my 5 lug resin cast wagon wheel and turned it into a 8 lug wheel.........that took some time but i think i did them ok......far from perfect, but atleast i have them done (all 4 of them)

Update, I have the fenders added ( dont know if i like them or not,but they will stay on either way........ Also added inside support arms and afew angled support arms.........think i am done there also........even did a little fiquring when i did the far front ones and they seem to be solid now as well......Almost ready for paint soon..................

Add the switch box and cord and is long enough to sit in the car and winch it up.
Also have the J-hooks made and hooked to a chains.dont know if it will be illegal mounted this way.........
also made the J-hook set up for the winch once i find a cable for it......
Also have Battery installed and wired.......

Just need to come up with a cable for the winch and its done.........couldnt find my pastels but when i do i add alittle to the rust i painted on and hop eit blends in better.......it is what it is......
I made the slide hitch part adjestable for different truck applications so it can be adjested ............
So for now its done.......not to bad for being almost 100% scratch built.

I decided to make a truck to haul the trailer around that was alittle more fitted for the job.....hows about a Chassis cab combo (with out box from the factory).......




Well maybe not! lets build a flat bed, i had just stocked up on evergreen stock (LOL)

Ok now onto the flat bed, kinda lost my way and just ran with an idea seems to be ok............




Made a pocket for the 5th wheel,will make a cover to go over it so know one falls into it! that might hurt LOL

Ok i have the headach rack in place..........and also started the work on the rear bumper, have a few plans for that.......





Lets try the trailer now before i get to far along! LOL glad i made the 5th wheel hook moveable and seems to work out pretty good........
