Alex First of all Sorry for "lurking" around without register or introduce myself But I just found this place via Mr.Blacks Blogg Also sorry to tell, my Poncho won´t see any progress in along time Too many other projects are lined up before. I'm curious about something and I probably need to speak to someone that worked for either S M P or A M T at the time . I have noticed over the years that kits made by these two companies from 1958 until at least 1961 had a "Funny" color that Distorted the Chrome finish on the parts . I've always been curious as to why this occurred . ed Shaver

I have had some vintage kits that had perfect chrome and others had a whole tree of "aluminum" looking chrome lol
