Snow forecast for Monday. The past two weeks I have been sanding and painting car bodies/chassis. I am getting 8-9 projects spray painted before it turns cold. I can't spray paint in the house, even with a vented spray booth, so I use the outside for my paint booth.
Now, I can kick back and brush paint the small parts and build up the kits thru the winter.
I wired up 3 distributors and really like the way they turned out. All I had was red and blue wire...so I used a black felt tip marker to color the wire black for some of the stock projects. It worked great. I will definitely make more for the stash.
So much for preparing for winter. Oh, guess I had better get the snow shovel out and bring in the water hoses...knew I was forgetting something!

Being in Iowa, right now we would normally be in the 30's to 40's for highs, and we are in the 70's!! But by the end of the week it is supposed to be down in the 50's for highs. I hope the snow and cold holds out for a looooong while...LOL.

Winter always slows my building down , temps here are still holding OK but the cooler temp.s are just around the corner. It was a big change when I moved south from Ohio years ago winters of deep snow there and here its a mix bag of everything. Mostly wet and cool much of the winter months. Tornado season clear up till Nov. with a mix of winter and spring like temp.s then the possible ice and snow that will last up into May , never know what your getting here in Northern Alabama LOL. If any painting is need some times I'll take my project to work with me and do my painting there if I have the time.

I hope the snow and cold holds out for a looooong while...LOL. Virgil After last year seeing the worst snow storms and problems (like no power/water for weeks) is what I can remember EVER seeing in my 37 years in Virginia,I agree with Virgil! Especially now that we don't have the KIA (or any 4x4)

You guys can probably relax! They say that we'll get hit hard this winter in the NW. So if you hear me complaining.... don't be surprized
